Return for Exchange/Credit

If you are not completely satisfied with your Matta product our return policy is as follows: All merchandise purchased at mattany.com may be returned within 7 days upon receipt for an exchange or Matta credit (subtracting the original shipping and handling fees). The credit is only usable online and not in any Matta stores. Matta credit is valid for six months from date of issue. Once your credit has expired it becomes invalid.

Please note that all Matta products are individually crafted by skilled artisans. Slight variations add to the unique beauty and personality of each piece. We also have made every effort to display as accurate as possible the colors of our products that appear on the website. However, colors also depend on your monitor and we cannot completely guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color is completely accurate.

Matta’s Jodhpur Collection of rugs and poufs are made from antique textiles that are patched worked together, these pieces are not replicas and every rug and pouf is one of a kind. Our designer, Cristina Gitti, travels to India and sorts through vintage dresses and saris looking for coordinating shades and pieces that have the most interesting embroideries. These pieces are then taken to craftsman in the countryside, who will stitch the individual pieces together to create the poufs and rugs.

All items returned must be in the same condition in which it was received. We will not accept returns of used or soiled merchandise.

We have the right to deny a credit if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements.

All sale items are FINAL SALE. No credit or exchange will be accepted.

Instructions for making a return:

To make a return or exchange you must first obtain a return authorization number.
Please note returns will not be accepted without an RA number.

To receive your RA number please contact us at orders@mattany.com, please include a brief explanation of why you are returning or exchanging your purchase, and what you would like to exchange it for.

Packages must be returned prepaid. We do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
